What Is TDB?

As required by the State of New Jersey, all New Jersey Restauranteurs provide Temporary Disability Benefits (TDB) as a part of the Unemployment Insurance coverage they provide for all of their employees. Most Restaurants get their TDB from the State TDB Plan along with their Unemployment Insurance coverage. The State Plan isn't a very good deal for New Jersey Restaurants. The New Jersey Restaurant Association has a private TDB Plan that will take care of your obligations to your employees under the law, at a much lower cost to you! This plan will provide the vast majority of NJRA restaurant members with 20 or more full or part time employees substantial savings, and the plan is endorsed by the NJRA Board of Directors.
